Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and track regulatory updates across multiple jurisdictions relevant to P&C insurance (e.g., DOI bulletins, NAIC guidance).
  • Support state filings and regulatory reporting processes in coordination with underwriting, legal, and product teams.
  • Conduct regular internal reviews and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Maintain compliance documentation, including records of training, filings, and regulatory correspondence.
  • Help manage producer licensing and appointment tracking.
  • Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries, exams, and audits.
  • Prepare training materials and assist in delivering compliance-related training to employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or business administration preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in an insurance compliance position.
  • Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Knowledge of NAIC and state insurance regulatory compliance.
  • Working familiarity of SERFF - System for Electronic Rate Form Filings.
  • Working knowledge of Insurance Product Filings.
  • Knowledge of NAIC annual statement lines of business.
  • Excellent people and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
