The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining financial records. This role involves analyzing billing data, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize billing practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Apply customer payments to accounts receivable.
  • Review and reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Analyze billing data and provide reports to management.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and finance teams to ensure accurate billing practices.
  • Maintain and update billing records and documentation as required.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of billing policies and procedures.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues and provide support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or financial analysis is required.
  • Experience with billing software and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
