Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors, clients, and staff in a friendly, positive manner
  • Answer multi-line phone with professionalism and enthusiasm; direct calls to appropriate personnel
  • Responsible for receiving, sorting, and routing mail received at the reception desk
  • Handle all outgoing mail, including sorting, envelope stuffing and postage machine workings
  • Responsible for receiving and handling of all checks
  • Maintains the reception area to look neat and professional at all times
  • Ordering, receiving, and organizing all office supplies
  • Working with vendors on equipment management and maintenance
  • Responsible for the schedule of no more than two receptionists
  • Perform administrative duties for multiple departments

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a professional environment preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Possess the ability to multitask and successfully prioritize assignments based on deadlines
  • Accustomed to working in high volume and high energy atmosphere
  • Has successfully demonstrated the ability to take ownership of their work
  • Enjoys complex and challenging assignments; organized and proactive
