Responsibilities

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform. In addition, will be the administrator for all the packages and features added on to the base platform.

 

 Responsibilities

  • Responsible for regular maintenance of the org
    • User login reports
    • Critical warnings
    • Health checks
    • Optimizations
  • Responsible for daily operations of the org
    • Checking scheduled batch jobs
    • Dashboards
    • All regularly occurring tasks
  • Maintain sandboxes, and lower testing environments
  • Maintain the training environment
  • Provide support to internal customers
  • Mentor junior administrators
  • Staying up to date on releases
  • Review the Salesforce Release notes and test the preview sandboxes
  • Responsible for deployments
  • Develop reports/dashboards and assist end-users when they have questions
  • Create and following-up on cases with Salesforce report
  • Create custom apps using tools such as SF Flows, page layouts, record types, approval process, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced Salesforce Administrator Certification or equivalent experience highly preferred
  • 7+ years working with enterprise level Salesforce.com instance with at least 1,000 users
  • 7+ years of analyst experience and/or experience with insurance processes
  • 7+ years of Salesforce Administration experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing and configuring on 1 or more Salesforce Clouds – Service Cloud/Sales Cloud/Experience Cloud/Marketing Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Lean methodologies
  • Experience engaging developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes
  • Handson configuration of new and existing Salesforce.com features including user management, roles/profiles, permission sets, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validations, workflows rules, email templates, process builder, flows, lightning pages, custom metadata types, custom settings, and managed packages
  • Ability to create Salesforce Reports/Dashboards for business needs
  • Experience implementing Salesforce solutions in highly regulated industries
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
  • Ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adaption
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to explain technology in business terms
  • Knowledge of the Insurance industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in some combination of the following skills:
    • Proficiency in Jira/Confluence
    • Salesforce Data tools (Data Loader, Workbench, Schema Builder)
    • Deploying multiple components (100+) into different environments (Sandbox vs. Production)
