Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with reviewing and reporting chronology of policy information to Director, Underwriting Compliance and Counsel for various legal matters
  • Contribute to the preparation of Secretary of State filings for all H.W. Kaufman entities
  • Support in the preparation and filing annual reports for all H.W. Kaufman entities
  • Assist with preparing responses to various Department of Revenue inquiries
  • Receive, review, and collaborate with local office and underwriting team to draft responses for consumer complaints and department of insurance complaints
  • Review and prepare documents for regulatory inquiries, carrier audits and surplus lines tax audits
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary information for various inquires and audits
  • Track and centralize reporting of audits, consumer complaints and Department of Insurance complaints
  • Additional compliance responsibilities to be included based on business needs

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Demonstrated competency in the comprehension of insurance regulations and statutes
  • Working knowledge of commercial property/casualty coverage and services and/or insurance licensing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Excellent attention to detail, as well as, strong time management, organizational and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
