Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing team at H.W. Kaufman Group is seeking an individual with a technological mindset, focused on using technology, data, and innovation to open up new possibilities and solve problems.

 

This position will report to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, and will play a key role in translating marketing campaign requirements into technical solutions via various marketing platforms—Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Personalization, WordPress, Social Media platforms and more.

 

To be successful in this role, the individual should also have a healthy obsession with data extraction, compilation, and analysis to enhance client experiences and drive business growth.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Salesforce Marketing Cloud:

  • Build marketing automation workflows, such as Journey Builder, Automation Studio and Triggered Sends defined in collaboration with Senior Manager
  • Build data extensions based on segmentation criteria defined in collaboration with Senior Manager and marketing team
  • Implement dynamic content and personalization elements within email templates to deliver personalized and relevant messaging to segments (content written by Senior Director, Content Marketing)
  • Conduct thorough testing of campaigns, including email rendering, dynamic content, personalization and automation workflows

 

 

Salesforce MC Personalization:

  • Configure, customize, test, launch and maintain existing and future use cases across website and email platforms
  • Maintain Audience/Catalogs within Personalization

 

 

WordPress

  • Assist in general website updates and revisions
  • Work alongside Senior Manager, Digital Marketing to assist in vendor management of websites, including maintenance task assignment and management

 

Data:

  • Manage URL tracking protocols across various marketing platforms
  • Extract and compile data from multiple marketing systems to support ongoing marketing campaigns (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Personalization, WordPress, GoToWebinar, Vimeo, etc.)
  • Assist in analysis of data to assess effectiveness of campaigns
  • Assist in providing detailed reports to relevant stakeholders and use findings to make data-backed recommendations for improvement

 

Additional:

  • Assist in scheduling of social media posts as needed (content written by Senior Manager, Digital Marketing)
  • Assist in technical documentation and training as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth execution
  • Research, learn and become proficient at using new, relevant technologies and systems that will improve the performance of digital marketing programs
  • Implement technical best practices in style and functionality to enhance the user experience

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of marketing experience within technical development of campaigns
  • Strong understanding of email marketing platforms and tools, including expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Marketing Cloud Personalization a must
  • Journey builder and automation experience
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data extraction and compilation
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities based on organizational needs

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Programming skills: HTML, CSS and Dreamweaver
  • SQL and AMPscript experience
  • WordPress experience
  • SF MCP sitemap and template development and builds
  • B2B experience
