Responsibilities

Node International is searching for a Business Development professional to join our company and support our cyber insurance growth initiative in the U.S.  This role will be responsible for managing relationships and developing cyber insurance business for a regional territory, by matching Node’s innovations and solutions with the needs and business goals of retail agents and brokers.

 

Successful candidates must have a Cyber and Privacy insurance expertise, the ability to translate risk management needs and insurance deficiencies into solutions, and strong relationship building skills with retail insurance clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with retail clients to support Node’s strategic direction and sales initiatives
  • Identify target agencies for new outbound campaigns and develop new agency relationships with strategic outreach
  • Drive new and renewal cyber insurance business for the assigned territory; conduct webinars and travel to meet with retail clients
  • Deliver consistent metrics of business development and renewal revenue; report, track and manage sales activities and results for the assigned territory
  • Maintain a strong product knowledge and understanding of our cyber and technology insurance solutions, and successfully match these solutions to the needs of our retail clients

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an underwriting, broker, or sales role with an MGA, wholesaler or carrier
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Cyber and Privacy insurance coverages and marketplace
  • Existing relationships with retail agents and brokers preferred
  • Proven problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-driven, independent and motivated to grow a long-term, successful sales career
  • Ability to travel required
  • P&C license preferred
